The Healing World

healing-world

I   Ears

An eddy in the corner slowly stirs the air

Summer

Sweaty collars

Neighbor Mrs. Xu is peeling an orange      juice is splashing

A pianist with peace at her fingertips

Clear summer day

Gentle sound of your kiss

With a melody

Mixed into the tenderness of pregnancy

The blindman expects to have an internet of sounds

His neighbors never talk with him

The stair, of Machilus-wood, transmits emotions from passersby

A girl often makes calls in the staircase      speaking softly

The sounds of laughing and crying

Are all he can imagine about love

Closed room      silence is expanding

The Ginseng-Banyan holds a legend in its shape

When its human figure is uprooted

An intangible scream

Will break though the wall

II   Eyes

Father loosened the wrapped gauze from his eye

Even before he can open it

Sunlight penetrates through the crevice from outside

The cut tissue

Starts to restore the nerves of the world

In the forest

Big and small universes communicate by a magical music scale

Plump mosses on trees     are the vertical farmland of beetles

There, we record the dialogue between humans and the Universe

Human: In the dark     I can’t see you.

Universe: You listen     imagine

A magpie stops on the windowsill of your old house

Then flies into the blue sky

Human: I can feel I am with you

Human: Between asleep and awake

I saw the scenery of another time

All visible things

Live outside the eyes

As swarming sceneries

As driving sensibilities

Learn to catch      catch lives      like a painter

The remaining genes in the river of life

Identities exchanging

All recorded time, adrift in the blowing wind

Love spreading

Closed eyes

Undercurrents flood the peace of the universe

All invisible things

Live inside the spirit

III   Mouth

Your voice explodes out of the dark night like a beam of light

Two worlds poured into the air from mutual bodies

A scene of silent emotion

With the form of a storm

Running there from a distance

I hope it will call out my name

Experience a taste      Expression

A wet entrance

Year after year      you farm      ingesting

Under sodium lamps      the growing animals

Hormone      injector      heavy smell of meat

Year after year      you become animal

A hundred-year storm

Thunders from your body

Lightning like molten iron

Aroused in your heartbeat

The storm changed the form of its mouth

It swallowed me

Spat me out

And stuck out its many colorful tongues

In thunder      you swallow a kind of taste of the imagination

IV   Nose

A kid is rubbing his eyes with tears

“Mom”

He’s still warm from his mother’s breast

The air of the city      loses the ability to be imagined

You couldn’t smell the fresh grass as watermelon after rain

Nor the scent of trees deposited for years

You are only able to breathe the stars between sunsets

Recalling several years ago

Inhale again the honey-like night on her neck

Roots of the tree grow in mud

An earthworm sticks its head out

Like the ancient python

Waiting for the battle of its life

Hou Yi pulls out his arrow

Back in the time before the Ice Age

Kiwi flaps her hairy mammalian wings

She digs for the spirits in the soil by nose

Lizard is washing his eyes with his tongue     Anyway

He doesn’t care whether his nose is painful

Stolen consciousness

Returns its genes back to earth

In the earth

There is a healing world
